This dome analogue vehicle camera is lightweight in a polycarbonate housing finished with silver. The camera uses wide dynamic range to capture crisp footage whilst in both low light and bright light conditions/areas. This camera is also flush-mounted with IP66 weather resistance to prevent damage to the camera whilst operating on the outside of the vehicle. 

This dome analogue vehicle camera is flush-mounted with IP67 waterproofing making it much more substantial when liquids are present near the equipment. The IP67 rating allows the camera to be submerged temporarily in water at depths of up to 1 meter and therefore the camera will operate on the outside of a vehicle where it will likely be subject to both rain and water when the bus/coach is cleaned.

○ Unscrew the top cover (3).

○ Attach the mounting base (4) to the wall or ceiling. Locate a wall stud or ceiling joint and secure the base using the screws provided. The screws shown (5) are for attaching camera to mounting adaptor. Standard screws and plugs are supplied for mounting direct to ceiling/wall. 

○ Connect BNC video jack to the monitor and connect DC power jack to 12vDC power source.

○ When picture shows on the monitor, loosen the knurled ring (6) for setting view (and focus-locking screw (7) if re-focussing is required). Adjust the camera view by moving the ball (8).

○ Fix the ball in position by re-tightening the knurled ring (clockwise).

○ Use the supplied Torx® key (1) and tamper screw (2) to lock the top cover

This dome analogue vehicle camera is also flush-mounted with IP67 waterproofing however the D057 Series comes with IR LEDs surrounding the lens to allow for recording in low light levels. The COV series uses covert IR LEDs at 940 nanometers which means there is no red light on the camera whilst recording. This is important in vehicle CCTV as it means the red light won't be confused with brake lights for other road users.

The AHD version of the D056 offers high-definition recording in 960p resolution on a 2.5m lens. The D056-AHD is also E-Marked for vehicle use and is compatible with the MDVR and Timespace range.
