HD, Analogue, IP and Hybrid Channel Inputs
Better Ways to Store Footage
When choosing a digital video recorder it is important to identify how many cameras you will need in your vehicle and whether you wish them to be in high-definition or not.
Our SURE MDVR range offers a higher quality picture (720p minimum) for up to 8 cameras which would be ideal for a van or smaller sized heavy vehicle e.g. single deck bus or small coach.
The Timespace options are perfect for those who wish to capture video footage using a higher number of cameras. Double-decker buses could require 16 cameras for the best coverage and this would mean using the Timespace V400 would be the better option. This device can then be linked to LANLink and PCLink which allows for you to track the vehicle, capture footage and store important vehicle information.

The SURE MDVR Range - Analogue High Definition Output
The SURE MDVR range are popular digital video recorders among the smaller vehicle industries, however, they are often supplied into heavy goods vehicles too. Here are just some of the benefits you can expect with your MDVR.
- High Definition Recording: High quality video footage can be a necessity with some vehicle fleets that we supply to. This is often due to footage assisting drivers or passengers with insurance claims or incidents that require the emergency services. Being able to clearly identify what has happened in an incident will ensure that both passenger, driver and company are protected.
- Optional GPS, 4G and WiFi: The 4G data and Wi-Fi is a necessary when wanting to use Timespace or SURE applications for live viewing camera footage and monitoring the location of the vehicle. If you look at our SURE Enterprise management software you can see exactly what live tracking, live view and CCTV health monitoring looks like.
- H.264 Video Compression: H.264 is a video compression for digital video recorders to use when reducing video file sizes without losing resolution in the captured footage. H.264 standard compresses the footage so that only half the storage space is used however the same video quality is maintained.
MDVR4S With SD Card
- SD Card: This DVR can store 2*128GB SD cards and is extremely compact which is beneficial when installed into smaller vehicles. The SD card is locked inside the front compartment to avoid theft of footage and although compact this DVR comes with the same features as the MDVR4.
